Readington Democrats Give Back Program

Our community and country has been deeply impacted by Covid-19. New Jersey has been one of epicenters of this crisis. A few weeks ago our Rene Rao & Alan Harwick  and Readington Township Democrats organized a way to help those in our community that are being adversely effected by coronavirus. We set up three contactless drop-off locations and have been collecting the requested supplies and donated them weekly to the Flemington Area Food Pantry and the Whitehouse Rescue Squad.

Thank you so much to everyone who has participated in our efforts. We have delivered 200 lbs of groceries and raised and donated $200 in monetary donations. 

Both the Flemington Area Food Pantry and the Whitehouse Rescue Squad's top request for donations was monetary. We quickly realized that we did not have an effective method for people participating in our Give Back Program to meet this need. We had multiple gift cards left in our contactless drop offs. So We are setting up this Go Fund Me page for those interested in helping those most impacted in our community.

100% of the money raised on this GoFundMe will be donated to organizations helping people in the Readington Township NJ community that have negatively impacted by Covid-19
