Reaching hurting women in Ecuador
I have the privilege of traveling to Ecuador with Orbie for Orphans at the end of July to bring HOPE to the women of that precious nation. Part of me feels ill-equipped, but the Hope of Jesus Christ fuels me. As a widow myself, I have huge financial needs to make this trip possible. Anything you can do, through me, to help bring hope to this amazing group of women is most appreciated! In addition to the $1700 in fees for the mission trip, I also have $1100 in babysitting expenses to raise for my 4 littles while I’m away. I know God is able and uses His children to accomplish His plans! UPDATE: I have received several donations through the mail and via PayPal, so I've updated the amount needed to reflect that. God is good!+ Read More
I leave for Ecuador in FOUR days! It's starting to feel a little surreal. Orbie for Orphans, the ministry I'm serving in Ecuador with, already has the first team on the ground in that beautiful nation. I'm part of the second team arriving this Friday! I'm getting so excited just in reading the Orbie updates and seeing pictures. Great work is already taking place, and I'm thrilled and honored to have a chance to share my story of hope and healing with many Ecuadorian women! I welcome your continued prayers and any donation (no matter the size) that you might feel led to do. I've updated my need to reflect gifts I've also received via the mail and PayPal, since I'm unable to manually add them using this platform. Thank you all for your continued support! Joel dreamed of me having opportunities like this to share all God has done in my life. Little did he or I know (until February 12, 2017) just how much more my story of hope and healing was about to change.
I’m leaving for Ecuador in 18 days! I’m fully trusting God for the funds to go. I’ve received some outside of GoFundMe, but I’m still looking at a mountain to climb. Will you join me in serving the children and women in need of HOPE in this beautiful nation?
I talked to my precious friend, Maria, yesterday who is on the ground serving daily the beautiful people of Ecuador. My heart leapt when I heard her sweet voice, knowing that in only a month and seven days I’ll be headed to join her and our amazing team of people going with Orbie for Orphans! It still seems so surreal, but this is exactly what I know I’ve been called to do for a week this summer. I welcome your prayers as God prepares me for this humbling task and for my kiddos as they are also being called to serve by simply doing without mommy for a week. I also welcome any financial support He might lead you to do as well! Thank you!
