The Fight for Life

A few years back in November of 2016, my stepdad, Adam, had a stroke. This was right after part of my family (my mom, stepdad, brother and little sister) had moved to Las Vegas from their Kentucky Home. When this happened, he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and he had a valve replacement surgery to help keep the blood pumping through his body. Since then, he has crashed a couple times and has been hospitalized to try and fight for his life.
The last 6 months of this year, 2018, have been very difficult. With everything going on, the Cobra Insurance suddenly ended . He now has an interim policy, which doesn't cover care of a preexisting condition, until the insurance kicks back in on November 1, 2018. He has been in the hospital telemetry unit for the past 3 weeks and is still there. With him not being able to work and my mom being disabled, there is little money coming in and no insurance to help lessen the Medical Bills.
The doctor he has in Las Vegas, Dr. Khan, has been consulting with other doctors across the country to see what can be done to get him stable enough to possibly transfer hospitals. He may be coming back to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky for care. This is just another medical expense they will be paying out of pocket.
Adam has a 4 year old little girl, Peyton, that relies on him daily to take care of her. She is his heart and is what is keeping him fighting everyday. He's only 45 years old and has so much more life left to live!
I know this is a lot to ask. If you can't donate I completely understand but I hope you share this and say a prayer for him no matter what religion, if any!
My hope is that this campaign will help lessen his monetary worries so he can focus on fighting and getting back to the life that he has missed out on for the last few years!
