Help for my parents

On January 3rd 2018 my father was diagnosed with a brain mass. He had been having some headaches and pressure in his head for a while. The doctors kept treating him for sinus infections. He finally went to the emergency room on January 3rd and they found a mass. They then sent us to Indianapolis to get further testing done. He had an MRI and a biopsy done. Then we waited.
After about a week and a half of waiting we found out the worst news we could ever imagine. He has glioblastoma. This is a cancerous brain tumor, and the survival rate for this type is not good. His tumor is too big for anyone to operate on. They told us if they operate it’ll do more damage than good. And these types always come back.
He will start chemo and radiation on February 5th. He will go through 6 weeks of radiation, Monday thro Friday. He will also be taking chemo therapy during this time. Then he will get 4 weeks off and start back up again. That’s about all they can do for him.
My father is such an amazing person. He worked construction all of his life and helped anyone who needed help. He continued to work up until about 3 days before his first visit to the ER on January 3rd.
So we are waiting on disability and other things to clear. But while we wait, my parents need help. My mother is staying home taking care of him throughout these trying times. So she is not able to work. They need help with money for bills, transportation, food, and whatever else they will need during this time. It’s really hard watching a loved one go through something like this.
Anything will help. Prayers are needed as well. Everything we receive from donations will go to helping them (my mother and father) financially. They just need to not worry about money at the moment and worry more about the battle that lies ahead.
