Hello friends and fam! I’m so happy to share that I finally have a new date for a long-awaited g3nd3r @ffirming surg3ry on March 27th! For those who weren’t here last time around, I had a date scheduled for December 2023 but my old insurance refused to cover it at the last minute. That was tough, but I’m so glad that I have new insurance that has already confirmed that they will cover the costs of the surgery.
That being said, I still need helping meeting out-of-pocket fees to help with my living expenses during the month-long recovery process as I will be unable to work and do not currently have paid sick leave. I am reaching out to my community of peers, friends, and family for help.
On top of this gofundme I am also happy to share that I am playing a top surgery fundraiser show on March 14th with the incredible line up of River I Ramirez, Julia Anrather, and Pillow Princess! It will be a great way to contribute in small and big amounts to my fundraiser, and to listen to some really rad queer/trans musicians! It will also be a celebration of this long awaited surgery, community, and the last chance to see ¡Cachabacha! until the summer! RSVP here!
