Underworld LARP Cape Breton: Vandalism Clean-Up

If you're not familiar with LARP... can I convince you to join? It's like playing your favourite RPG in real life. Instead of rolling a die or pressing X on the controller, you actually swing your sword or talk to the local blacksmith. In the past four years we've built up a close-knit community of a few dozen people who have become like a second family to me and to each other. Unfortunately, we've had that tranquility shattered. In the past week or so, pretty much every night, we've had a group of local teens trespass on our land to destroy and deface our property. They have smashed everything they could and tagged the rest of it with homophobic slurs and poorly drawn penises. Most recently, I witnessed close to twenty of these teenagers leaving our land- land that is clearly marked private, land they have been told not to trespass on before. Some of them were armed. They brought a dog as well. They've been reported to the police, including all their license plates, but so far neither we nor the police have been able to stop them. Once this terror ends, we have to rebuild. What we have put together these past few years has been undone. But we won't allow them to stop us. We will reassemble. We will erase the graffiti. But we will need your help. We're small, and most of the profit we've made has gone back into the business, so we don't have enough to rebuild on our own, to rebuild our site better than before, and to rebuild the trust in the local community that has been lost due to these monsters run amok. Please. Every little bit helps. Every little bit will be greatly appreciated. Tempest Grove is our home away from home, and it has been taken from us. Help us take it back.
