Brandon Muro's Medical Bills

Saturday June 3rd Brandon managed to pull down a freshly brewed cup of coffee off the Kuerige that we had thought was out of his reach and it caused 2nd degree burns all over his face and chest. Brandon has always been a wild and active little boy! We always watch over Brandon like we are his shadow since he is so active but that day, within a matter of a second, he burned his entire face. He is so full of life and happiness so it is hard to watch our 19 month old go through so much pain. For the next 2 to 3 weeks he will be recovering at home with his "momool" aka mom :) unfortunately this time at home is not full of fun and excitement since he cannot go outside or encounter direct sunlight until he heals. With great humility we are seeking assistance from anyone who can help with the overwhelming cost of his medical bills. Already we are $450 behind for 3 hospital copays, our responsibility of $980 for the ambulance ride from 1 hospital to another, the unknown medical expenses for the treatment at the hospitals, the unknown cost for his weekly visits to the Burn Center for physical therapy, the loss in wages for his "momool" for a 7 day waiting period for paid family leave (mom had only 2.5 days in vacation), and other various medical expenses for the 6 months ahead. For those of you who don't know, Brandon had 6 stitches back in February and a surgery in April that we are currently fighting since the necessity of it is questionable. With all that has occured these last few months, we are emotionally and financially exhausted! Brandon is doing fine and loving his time with "momool"...he is expected to recover well over the next 6 months to a year. Right now we are doing our best to keep him happy and healthy, which is our main focus, but in the back of our minds we know there is a financial crisis ahead.
