Red Boiling Springs Heritage Museum

Red Boiling Springs is a very small town in the hills of Tennessee. At the turn of the Twentieth Century, it was a booming mineral resort town that drew thousands of visitors during "the season".

Today, three of the resort hotels are all that is left of that era. Due to floods and fire we have lost a lot of the physical evidence of our "hey days". The town is rich in history but has no where to show case that history.

Vision 2020 Inc, a non-profit 501c3, purchased the old Red Boiling Springs Bank building in 2012, with the view of creating a Heritage Museum for the community. The building was built in 1929 and has been added to the National Historic Register. The first thing we must do is to restore the building itself.  We have replaced the roof and restored the brick work.

We need  $20,000 to restore and in some cases totally rebuild our windows and doors.  We understand that times are hard but if a lot of people can give a little, we can reach this goal and be that much closer to preserving our history for future generations.
