Mi nombre es Mario Moncayo Game y junto con mis hermanas Denise y Mary quisimos hacer este fondo para poder ayudar a nuestro padre Mario Moncayo Alvarado, ya que en la actualidad se le diagnosticó cáncer al Pulmón, para los que lo conocen, saben que mi papa es una excelente persona, amable, optimista, una persona que ama los deportes y ama compartir la mayor parte de su tiempo con sus nietos, un gran amigo pero sobre todo un magnifico padre.
Todo empezó hace unos 4 meses atrás, mi papa comenzó a tener dolores en la espalda y posterior a eso se le presento una tos que no se le alivia con nada, fue en ese momento que al realizarse diversos exámenes, nos topamos con la dura noticia de que se trataba de un tumor cancerigeno alojado en el pulmón izquierdo ejerciendo presión a la tráquea.
Por la ubicación del tumor no es posible operar, por lo que para poder combatir esta enfermedad los doctores le recetaron un tratamiento inicial de 12 meses de Xalkori de 250 mg., los que conocen del tema saben que esta pastilla es específicamente para el tratamiento del cáncer al pulmón, ya que la quimioteriapia que era la otra alternativa no da la certeza de combatir este tipo de tumor.
Cada frasco contiene 60 pastillas, las cuales le alcanza para 1 mes de tratamiento, ya que tiene que consumir 2 pastillas al día, el costo de cada frasco es de 6.000 dólares y al momento entre todos nosotros logramos conseguir el primer frasco.
