Antonio's Funeral Expenses

To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, my dad, Antonio “Josco” Soto passed away yesterday morning at the young age of 63 from heart failure after battling through a rigorous three month brain aneurysm recovery. For those of you who had the pleasure to know him, you are well aware that he carried a strong attitude and was a really hard working man who cared about nothing most but his family and friends. He leaves behind a loving companion, seven children, fourteen grandchildren and the glue to our family. Throughout the years, my siblings and I grew up admiring a man who not only sparked the beginning of a new life in this country for his entire family but we watched him and my mom help hundreds of people who were in need of work or living assistance. So it’s to say he left a good life example for us to follow.

Our family tried to prepare financially for his passing after having learned his diagnosis in October; however, we had not planned for the effects of the stroke to take him away from us so quickly. This will be a tough week my family will go through as we approach Christmas and having my dad pass away on my little sisters birthday and my mom also currently hospitalized for congestive heart failure and a pneumonia infection.

As we continue to cope with this heartache we’ve already had numerous phone calls and text messages from people asking how to help, so I’ve created this campaign as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with funeral plans as they continue to be arranged, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left.
