Dog Days

Donation protected
Dog Days is a short film put together by two friends from the west side of Phoenix, Arizona. Dylan F. Budnieski, the writer and director of Dog Days, and Lucas O.M., its producer, have been two friends making films together since they were 16. Just like when they were young, this short film would not be possible without substantial help from their old classmates.

Dylan F. Budnieski is a writer and director who graduated from Toronto Film School this spring. He was awarded the Best Cinematographer of his class for the short film In Memoriam. Lucas O.M. an independent short film and music video director currently working in film distribution in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dogs Days was shot over the courses of three weeks in October 2019 and is currently in the process of Post-Production. As we prepare the final cut of this film, we are also preparing for its submission to festivals. With our goal to submit Dog Days to at least ten film festivals from Slamdance to the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, we need to raise $487.00. Submitting to festivals is expensive as every submission costs between $30-$80. We believe in what we’ve made, and with your help, we can show the world.

When you contribute to Dog Days you will receive access to theDirector’s notes, early screening access to the film, stickers, and a T-Shirt (T-shirts are offered to contributors of $40 or more). If you can’t donate, we ask that you share our campaign and help promote our film on social media to help share our creative work. Thank you for your support through this entire process; together we can bring this film to life!
