Rachael's World Vets Volunteer Trip
Donation protected
Hello Everyone!
I am currently a second year student at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Through my studies, I have developed an interest in specializing in Shelter Medicine and, hopefully, one day owning my own animal shelter. Specializing in Shelter Medicine will entail performing a plethora of surgeries throughout my career, especially spay/neuters. This brings me to the opportunity I am pursuing with World Vets.
This spring break (March 7-14) I will be participating in the World Vets Nicaragua trip. World Vets is a program that offers veterinary students the opportunity to learn surgical techniques and procedures one-on-one with a registered veterinarians. These trips are held all over the world and I chose to help communities and their animals in Granada, Nicaragua. To participate I have to pay my way there, so I am asking for any donation you can give that will go towards the program cost, plane ticket, and other miscellaneous expenses. Your donation will help me gain valuable life and career lessons by sending me to Nicaragua for this once in a lifetime opportunity!
Any little bit helps! Thank you and God Bless!
