Well my friends, this past week has been an amazing one. From one of the lowest points of my business career to the most wonderful I have felt about the business in a long time. Maybe never like this. It is with great joy that I say STOP to this promotion and send LOVE & THANKS to all who have called, supported, promoted, shared, shopped, and contributed! This has been a Ray’s Ice Cream remake of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’.
We went from being over stocked without orders coming in to having empty freezers faster than we could ramp up manufacturing and it has been a wild ride to say the very least. To come back to the shop and see a line of people around the building on such a cold winters day was intense. People happy to be there and looking to buy Ice Cream and support our family business. It was totally incredible. The outpouring of support has renewed my dedication to this business and I now see that this is bigger than me.
The stories people have had to share, the memories our patron friends pass on, the people whose lives touched ours and the impact that has had; Heartwarming and humbling doesn’t begin to explain the feelings that we have.
Ray’s Ice Cream will get through this because of your support and now with some restaurant business and in store counter customers allowed we are on our way back. We are looking forward to warmer weather and a better business climate and are planning for a customer appreciation day in early July. Who wouldn't like a free Ice Cream cone?!?
Our hearts are full and now we need to get the coolers full again too!
