In October Raymond was diagnosed with Stage 4 Difuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma and Follicular Lymphoma. This is what is called a double hit. This double expresser makes this type of cancer twice as aggressive.
Raymond began his chemo treatments that lasted from December through March. Durring this time, he had to give up his job to allow time for his recovery. Now, being on a fixed income things have gotten a little tight.
He has now started what they call salvage chemo. This is what will prepare his body for an Auto Stem Cell Transplant to come in the near future.
These funds will help the family cover travel expences to and from the hospital in the coming months.
Anyone who knows Raymond, knows that he is a "give the shirt off of your back" kind of guy. He has always had the helping hand nature about him. Now he is in need of some help himself.
