Hello,
Many of you know that Raymond Blye (Deacon Blye) has been in a battle with cancer for many years. On July 12, 2020, he won the battle and entered into eternity with the Lord in Heaven.
We as a family are both heartbroken with the loss of the man we loved and joyful that he is no longer suffering or in pain.
We know that many of you knew and loved Raymond. We as a family have decided that in leu of flowers for his service, you can donate to this fund. We will use the money in two ways:
1. We will be providing a catered meal to all of the wonderful Health Care workers on the 7th floor at Shanes Hospital (Gainesville, FL). We are forever grateful for how they have faithfully walked this entire journey with him.
2. Raymond has been a long time supporter of Saint Jude's Research Hospital. The remainder of the funds will go to this amazing organization as they continue to help families who are affected by cancer.
We thank you in advance for your generous donations and would enjoy hearing of any memory that you may have of our most loved Husband/Dad/Grandfather/Deacon. All funds will be maintained and distributed by our family.
