Dear Family and Friends,
My name is Rayanah Mkuu and I am a second-year student at the University of Florida majoring in Mechanical Engineering. This year, I am proud to be a contestant in the Theta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Miss Black and Old Gold Scholarship Pageant as Contestant #3.
As a future engineer, my mission is to break barriers in STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math) and empower the next generation of innovators—especially young black boys and girls. I want to show them that they belong in these spaces, that their voices matter, and that they too can achieve greatness. By supporting me, you’re not only investing in my future, but in the future of those I aim to inspire and uplift.
Your generous contributions help me continue this journey of growth and empowerment. With your support, I can make an even greater impact in my community and continue working to
change the narrative in STEM. Thank you for believing in me and for being part of this important mission.
Yours truly,
Contestant #3
