Ray's Rehabilitation

Ray had a stroke on July 24th. He is currently in inpatient rehab working on regaining movement and mobility for the left side of his body. We need help supporting his healing journey.
Prayers, love, and support will help him find the motivation and inspiration to do the hard work of re-learning how to move and use his arm and leg. Financial support will allow him to receive the care he needs to fully heal.
Ray had just ended a job in late May, and so has no regular income or benefits from a job. He is currently insured under COBRA for a high premium. He will be eligible for Medicare starting in October. We've also applied for TennCare and Disability but while we wait for those things, we still need some support.
Bills from hospitals and doctors are coming in, and the COBRA deductible is quite high. Furthermore, the monthly insurance premium is $600 for each month of July, August, and September (after which we can go to Medicare and the medicare supplement plan). On top of those things, the monthly cost of his home- utilities, food, mortgage, etc. And finally the ongoing need for support to cover the expenses of therapy and individual care once he is released from the inpatient rehab. Things like disability and Tenncare can take months to be approved, so let's make sure Ray is cared for as best we can.
