Ray and Kathie Sangl Medical Fund

Hello all my Facebook friends and family,
Raymond Louis Sangl Jr. is one of my very best friends in this world. He's like a brother to me, and many others as well. So you can imagine my sadness to learn that Ray has an aggressive form of prostate cancer that he is gearing up to battle in the coming weeks.
Ray, and his amazing wife Kathie, are two of the very best people on this earth and they need our help right now!
In order for Ray to beat this evil, he will undergo more than 30 radiation treatments (5 days a week) followed by a high-dose radiation seed implant procedure. This will occur over the course of the next two months. By doing so, Ray will be forced to miss nearly every day of his work due to the frequency of his treatments, and as a result of that, the Sangl‘s will be very short on money for the next few months as Ray begins his post-procedure recovery and a hopeful full remission.
Fortunately for Ray and Kathie, they have a great support system of friends and family to help them bear the brunt of this ordeal emotionally and physically. But sadly, they will be forced to face the financial hardship nearly all by themselves, and that's where we come in! As you can imagine this will be a HUGE medical bill even after insurance, and something that most families in our country are not set up to deal with. I would like to start this fundraiser in order to help Ray and Kathie at least meet their mortgage and bill payments while Ray is forced to miss two months of work or more. And hopefully if we can get this out to the world, we can raise a lot more for the Sangl's than my modest goal of $3000 to possibly help cover the estimated $11,000 in additional medical bills they will incur.
I ask that you give anything you can during this holiday season to help the Sangl’s out in their time of need. Those of you who know them, know that Ray and Kathy would do anything for anyone, friends and strangers alike. My hope is that we can help Ray and Kathie out this time around. Thank you for your love and support to two of the greatest people you may or may not know, Ray and Kathie Sangl. Ray and Kathie in Leadville, Colorado shortly before their marriage

Ray has long been an active advocate of cancer research, fund raising, and awareness. In October (breast cancer awaremess month) 2014, Ray dyed his hair and beard pink to help raise donations at his work. He was recognized by the Huntsman Cancer Institute for his efforts in raising donations as well as his attention-grabbing methods in which to bring awareness to the cause.
