Hey! Thanks for checking out Carleton Ravens Rowing’s gofundme to help us on our way to success at the Canadian University Rowing Championships (CURCs). This year, CURCs are being held on November 6th and 7th in Welland, ON. Carleton will have 15 athletes attending CURCs this year in many of the racing categories.
While we are extremely lucky to have CURCs so close to home this year, the regatta is still athlete-funded. This means that all the fees and expenses are paid for by the student-athletes. This includes entry fees, seat fees, and travel and accommodation expenses. The funds raised will be split evenly between each athlete.
Examples on where your donations will go:
Donate $5: this covers the seat fees for one athlete
Donate $25: this covers travel expenses for one athlete
Donate $50: this covers one athletes entry fees
Donate $100: this approximately covers accommodations fees for one athlete for the entire weekend
