Raven’s Pelvic Surgery

Hi guys! I don’t like to ask for help, but we’re in deep. Last night, our puppy, Raven, snuck outside into the dark while we were bringing things inside. She was probably frolicking around enjoying her freedom when within 5 minutes she was hit by a truck. She was bleeding from a deep gash and her legs were spreading out underneath her. We rushed her to Brockport Animal Hospital where they told us her pelvis was fractured and it was too complicated for them to handle there. They sent us to the Rochester ER. The doctor called us later that night and told us the fracture was severe (in several places) and was worried about nerve damage. To say we were devastated is an understatement. We told them we would like to wait until morning, and speak with the surgeon. The surgeon told us that there is a positive outlook, but it’s going to take a few surgeries and lots of work. She does have feeling in her legs and can move her tail. Raven is family to us and we are going to move forward with the plan and do the best we can for her. I’ve never seen my family so distraught and we’re willing to do what it takes, but it’s going to be a difficult road. Financially, we are going to struggle. We could really use any help we can get. I promise that we are givers and will give back whenever we can, for as long as we can. This is what we live by. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! ♥️
