Raven Willhite, 23 years old, was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Ewing Sarcoma on Feburary 20th, 2018. It is treatable and beatable cancer but it will be a long, hard journey for her.
For those of you who know Raven, she is an extraordinary young woman. She is kind hearted, thoughtful and always putting others before herself. She has left her fingerprints of kindness on many a heart.
She went into the hospital on February 17th thinking she had pneumonia, only to be told by doctors that they found two masses in her lungs. A biopsy was done and sent to Mayo Clinic for confirmation, as the doctors were baffled that this rare cancer is what she actually had. Only to unfortunately get back the confirmation that it was Ewing Sarcoma.
She is undergoing treatment now but is unable to go back to work until she is well. As you know life keeps marching forward and she is going to need financial help to help offset the expenses she will incur during this difficult time. She is such an inspiration that she said if she gets more than what she needs for her medical bills, she will donate the rest to other cancer charities.
Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated. It is important to help her focus solely on her recovery. Anything we can do to help ease her worrying mind about the future will be beneficial.
