Raunak’s Fundraiser

Hopes and dreams of Raunak’s aged parents shattered today when they got the devastating news of their son, who died in Westmead hospital this morning (11/07/2022) after getting caught in the fire which engulfed his unit on Campbell Street, Parramatta. Emergency services were called to the Campbell Street apartment block in Parramatta just after 2:45AM, taking him to the hospital where he later died. He was kind of guy who would go out of his way to help someone. Raunak came to Australia in Sep 2019 on a student visa and had big hopes of completing his Masters in Networking and supporting his parents and younger brother back home. He was in his last semester and planned to go to India in couple of months to see his family but those future dreams and hopes of parent’s drying eyes to see their child will never come to life now. He went too far too soon, putting his family in a loss which can never be filled. While studying he was also providing financial support his parents back home. This tragic incident will leave lifetime misery and pain for them. The objective of this fundraise is to provide that last financial support to family in these tough times and to send the body back home after all the government clearances. I Mohit Rana Raunak’s closest friend from last 14 years from India and we came together in Australia for pursuing our masters and i will be receiving funds from this fundraiser and i am in regular touch with Raunak’s younger brother Chaudhary Randeep Singh for this fundraiser and i will transfer the funds to Raunak’s parents or his brother via cheque or wire transfer Ref: Raunak
