Raul's Last Hope

Donation protected
My name is Evelyn Garcia and my brother is Raul Garcia. We were born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and we are still here.  We are from a family of two wonderful caring parents and six siblings, a household total of eight. Family is very important to us, so when we heard about Raul's diagnosis, we were devastated.  Raul was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in his right temporal lobe in 2013. Since then, he has been in a constant battle and through out the years the tumor has now become three and continue to grow. He has not been able to win the fight YET, but with with the hope of a new treatment plan outside the US we hope he finally ends up victorious and defeats the tumors eating away his hopes and dreams.

Raul is a very intelligent, enthusiastic, fun, loving, and caring young man with way more to offer to this world. His life is being cut too short due to the growing tumors in his brain.  He is about to turn 27 years old. He graduated from UCSB with a degree in physical geography and he has not been able to fulfill his dreams. In San Fernando High School he was in cross-country and he put all his knowledge to the test. In college he was was ready to conquer life to the fullest, he worked for JPL, he loves the outdoors, but now he is unable do any of what he wants to do. Now, his reality is being bound to a wheelchair, he has tremors, left side weakness, seizures, short-term memory loss, speech impairment, and vision loss. He has already completed two rounds of radiation and continuous chemo treatments, but  they have not worked and yet, he continues to have HOPE. We are in dire need of all of your prayers and support to provide him his last hope of an alternative treatment to give him a chance of life.  All who know and want to know Raul,  he is a person with a huge heart and he is not giving up.

From Family and Friends, we thank you for your support.
