Raul Martinez has been in the hospital since Saturday evening, September 3 and is currently in stable condition following a severe, life-threatening accident requiring multiple surgeries.

Raul is a beloved Austin Country Club staff member that has been serving us since June 2014. He was first hired as a Food and Beverage Team Expediter for the member dining room and assisted as a staff translator when needed. Raul is best known for his role in the Penick Room and has also supported the ACC membership outside the Club as a bartender, server and friend. Born and raised in Brownsville Texas, Raul moved to Austin for a change in scenery. He has continued to help his family’s Beauty Salon business in Brownsville with advertising and promotion. Raul is dependable, maintains a positive attitude and is known for his knack at remembering the little details that make us all feel special.
