 On 05/28/2026, our beloved father, Raul Flores Diaz, passed away after a long and courageous battle with serious health challenges. Raul was a loving father, devoted family man, and a hardworking provider. He was a source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love for everyone who knew him. In 2013, Raul underwent a double lung transplant, a milestone achieved by only a very small percentage of transplant recipients. After a long battle, Raul reached the 1% in the nation to live past 7 years post-transplant, and he went even further, living over 11 years, a testament to his determination, faith, and deep love for family. He never stopped fighting, because every moment mattered to him. 
 
 
 Despite his incredible resilience, Raul eventually reached the final stage of his health journey and passed away surrounded by love. His loss has left an immeasurable void in our family. After his passing, I personally took responsibility for the funeral and burial arrangements to ensure his final wishes would be honored. We are raising funds to help cover the costs of his funeral service and burial. This support represents only the expenses associated with honoring his final wish to be buried with dignity and respect, and does not include the many additional costs our family has faced throughout his health journey and after his passing. Raul leaves behind his loving wife and daughters, who are deeply grieving his loss.

Raul fue un padre amoroso, un hombre de familia dedicado y un proveedor incansable. Fue una fuente de fortaleza, sabiduría y amor incondicional para todos los que lo conocieron. En 2013, Raul recibió un doble trasplante de pulmón, un logro alcanzado por muy pocos pacientes. Después de una larga batalla, Raul alcanzó el 1% en la nación que vive más de 7 años después del trasplante, y fue aún más allá, viviendo más de 11 años, un testimonio de su determinación, fe y profundo amor por su familia. Nunca dejó de luchar, porque cada momento era importante para él. 
 
 
 A pesar de su increíble resiliencia, Raul finalmente llegó a la etapa final de su camino de salud y falleció rodeado de amor. Su partida ha dejado un vacío inmenso en nuestra familia. Después de su fallecimiento, asumí personalmente la responsabilidad de los arreglos funerarios y de entierro para asegurar que se cumplieran sus últimos deseos. Estamos recaudando fondos para cubrir los gastos de su servicio funerario y entierro.
