Rat Terrier for King Of Queens

I am honored to announce that I am taking part in the legendary King of Queens fundraiser this year. Events like this one are so important to keep local organizations active, especially with the recent budget cuts ACOS has faced by the state of RI and what that could mean for the essential services they provide. The importance of access to resources that organizations like AIDS Care Ocean State provide has hit home most of my life, Attending 15-20 funerals a year for friends I lost to AIDS and learning of the passing of my friends in the newspaper was common place for me when I was younger. I watched an entire generation of my fellow activist and friends die, something our community has yet to recover from in a plethora of ways. I feel so lucky to have Yolandi as my Drag Mother, she is a shining example of walking with your head held high as an openly HIV+ individual, our combined passion for this cause will lead to something beautiful.
