Rasing money for recovery for Kevin

I need to raise money due to a major car accident. I was coming home late after work and feel asleep behind the wheel and struck a tree. I broke my left leg over 10 times broke 3 ribs and broke my jaw in 4 places. Im now in recovery but i have been turned down for all help due to i was only 2 months into my new job and had not received insurance or benifits. My left leg is in a halo or its also called a external fixator so i can not work. I was turned down at DSS because im not going to be disabled for over a year and i have no children. Im signal working adult and im going to be out of work for up to 8 months trying to recover. I hate asking for help but i have no other option at this point. I have no family in Charlotte and im going to get kicked out of my rental because i have no income. I also need money for food and medicine that my doctors are prescribed. Im on a walker and cant keep my left leg down for more than 3 hours or it begins to swell up and bleed. I have over 16 pins and rods in my leg and toes holding the bones in place. Its very painful. Ive contacted all public resources i know to contact but they all tell me to go to the homeless shelter. The halo is so large on my leg i can't put on jeans or paints and underwear so if I am evicted im afraid of the winter cold months. I also have a large open wound on my left ankle i don't want to get infected. I hate that im asking for help but this is my last resort. I just need enough money to pay my rent and food for the next 6 months. Then i can have surgery to remove the halo around my left leg and go back to work. Thank you to everyone that helps.
