In Memory of Raquel Ashkenazi

On Febuary 24th I lost my best friend. Raquel was not only an amazing friend to all, she was an amazing sister, cousin, and daughter. Raquel had a passion for ending violence towards animals, and she spread that message to everyone she knew. My friend Veronica Podolny and I have thought long and hard of a way to honor Raquel's passion and love towards all animals. To keep Raquel's legacy going we are asking all of you to help us. We contacted Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, and for $1700 the hospital will donate a branch on their tree memorial in the hospital. The branch will have have a plaque and an inscripton about Raquel and her love for everyone and anything. The branch is $1500 and the inscription is $200. The hospital will put the money raised towards their animal shelter located in Boston. If any extra money is raised it will still go towards the animal shelter at Angell Memorial.
