Raquan Aspires for a College Degree

Hi,  I'm Raquan Davis, I'm 22 and a transfer student at Beaufort County Community College, BCCC,  trying to brighten my future.  I live on my own and pay all my bills. I'm car-less, but that hasn't stopped me from striving and making the best out of any situation.   Even though there is no public transportation where I live, I don't mind walking to work or to school.  Because, I'm  independent and hard working it's difficult  asking for help.  But everyone needs a hand every now and then.    

Recently,  I finished my first semester at BCCC and went through a lot of trials and tribulations to make it.  I broke my right hand in the beginning of the semester and ever since then I've been fighting to get my finances back in order.  Even though I was employed,  for the last three months I  have not been able to work due to the broken hand.  I am a biscuit maker, and you cannot make biscuits while in a cast or without full mobility.  I had to use all of my savings to keep afloat.  I just used the last this week.  Suddenly, I went from independent to scared and sad.  

Anything you could possibly give will help jump start my spring semester and help me with living expenses.  Finishing my transfer degree and getting into a university is one of my biggest dreams. I can't explain in words how thankful I would be if this came to reality. Any support is  appriciated.  I see my limitations and I know I need help. I am deeply grateful.
