Raquel's Mission Trip to Ghana

Hello!
My name is Raquel Golanski and I am a University of Alabama pre-med student, pursing a double major in Biology and Dance, with a minor in French (#rolltide). I am involved in a lot of things on campus ranging from my soroity Zeta Tau Alpha (#ZLAM) to Alabama Repertorie Dance Theater. I hope to become a pediatric cardio-thoracic surgeon some day! Yet, in light of my fathers recent diagnosis with Cancer, I was inspired to dedicate my Spring Break trip this year to making a difference. I was lucky enough to be accepted to the Project Abroad's Alternative Spring Break Medical Internship in Ghana and I am super excited for this opportunity! However, I need your help to get there!! With the funds collected from this campaign I will be able to purchase the transportation and supplies needed for this trip.
Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated and will go to good use for this medical experience and to aid the children of Ghana. I truly believe that hope has no borders because these children deserve the same chance that is given here in the states.
