Hey All, let me take you back to February 3rd, Superbowl Sunday. A day that is suppose to be a day of fun, excitement, and a gathering of family and friends. That was sure the plan for my parents. Sunday morning they went of to the store to get the last bit of food they needed for the party, until my dad and mom got out of their vehicle to go into the store. As they are walking in the parking lot, my fathers eyes suddenly roll back as he falls to the ground and starts to have a seizure. (Take in mind he has NEVER had any medical issues, so this was very odd.) My mom called 911 and they rush him to the hospital. They do multiple scans of the whole body, head to toe. They informed us they have found something very concerning and that they need to transport him to another hospital for more care and test. After transporting him to another hospital, he was put in ICU. They then did cat-scans and an Mri on his brain. The doctors came back to let us know that my father has 4 tumors on his brain and 1 in his lungs that may be cancerous ... We all start to panic as any family would. On Wednesday February 7th, they took him in for a biopsy and told us within 72 hours we will have all the details. Friday February 9th, the surgeon and medical team come in to give us the news. My Father has stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer. That was when our lives changed forever. The heartbreak, the pain. Why him?  How could this be? Treatment you may ask? Unfortunately the tumors on his brain have been there too long that they have expanded to a size that is impossible for them to touch or else he would end up brain dead. They told us even with Chemotherapy they are giving him a year to live, at best. Glioblastoma is the worst brain cancer you can be diagnose with. Studies have shown that they are unaware how this nasty disease comes about. Only 2 in 100,000 cancer patients are diagnose with it.

This has hit all of us very hard, and out of nowhere. We are not prepared for this. My father was a Truck Driver. He no longer has a career. He's not aloud to drive because of the severity and the seizures.
My mother has started the process for Social Security for him. At the earliest they said his first check would be July. That is too far out for us and my mom to juggle the bills. ANYTHING will help. Again we are not sure what his medical bills are going to look like and his kemo treatment as well as hospice.  I would love for my father to be stress free for the rest of his time.

They say God gives his hardest battles to the strongest people and sure enough he has given it to the strongest, greatest man there is, My Father. He will fight and do his best to be happy and get through this as best as he can.

I thank you all for the support and prayers.
Again ANYTHING helps.
Even just a simple share.
Bring awareness to this awful disease.
Screw CANCER.
