Saying 'Goodbye' is never easy and really it never gets easier - there are no 'right' words to say sometimes we find there are no words to say at all. This holds especially true when someone who was so special to so many people, someone who was genuinely a good person is taken from this world, from their family too soon.
Randy Helms (7/16/1986 - 4/12/2019) was a son, a brother, a best friend, a father and a spouse. He was someone who took all of those roles seriously and gave them each 110%. He made a difference. Unfortunately, far too soon he was taken away from this world and all of these people. He leaves behind a grieving family whose hearts will never be whole again. He leaves behind a sister and a grandmother, an acquired family where he was viewed as a son and brother, a soon to be Wife who lost her best friend, her better half - her sunny side to life, and a son who will not get the chance to grow up knowing his father.
On the day Randy passed, he had just left his in laws house with his son, Charlie. He buckled him up in the back seat they said their 'see you laters' and planned to be back that evening for Charlie to spend the night. As Randy and Charlie made their way down hwy 25 a vehicle crossed over the center lane into theirs crashing head on and instantly taking the life of Randy. Charlie, 4 years old in the back seat unbuckled himself and with a broken leg made his way out of the car yelling for help.
Aside from the new emptiness in this world that will make going forward hard, he has left behind a family who all while trying to gather the pieces of their heart must also find the strength to bury and make arrangements for his farewell as well as the incurred hospital bills.
The family would appreciate any amount that you are able to donate to assist with the cost of the funeral arrangements and medical bills to see to it that Charlie is taken care of and Randy is laid to rest with a piece of the beauty he brought to this world.
