For the past 2 months my dad has been in the hospital. Starting at Avera in Mitchell SD , then Avera in Siouxfalls SD for 3 weeks. Now St. Mary's Mayo hospital in Rochester Minnesota. After 5 MRIs, 3 lumbar punctures, countless blood draws, and a failed attempt at a biopsy of a lesion on the brain, we still don't have a diagnose as to what's going on. My Dad has lost all mobility in his legs, and is now wheelchair bound. We are slowly accepting the fact my dad more then likely will be coming home in a wheelchair when he is discharged from the hospital, even if he has not been diagnosed. We still have very high hopes and pray everyday that the doctors will find what's causing this, and we can start treating him. As you can imagine medical bills are piling up and we are going to have to make modifications to our parents house to make it wheelchair accessible. We(his two daughters) have decided to ask for some help. Any amount big or small is greatly appreciated and means the world to us. We are also asking people to keep him and/or pray for him. We believe that prayers are a very powerful thing and make a world of difference. Thank you to all. I will try and keep an update and what's and how he is doing . Thank you again.
