WER WIR SIND:
Wir sind Hillseye Boards, ein junges Unternehmen aus Bad Schussenried in Süddeutschland, das besonders stabile und gleichzeitig leichte Balance Boards aus recycelten Materialien herstellt. Unsere Produkte entstehen aus Abfällen der Automobil- und Luftfahrtindustrie, die wir upcyclen, um etwas Neues und Langlebiges zu schaffen. Neben unserem Fokus auf umweltfreundliche Produktion engagieren wir uns auch sozial, um Menschen durch Board-Sport Freude und neue Möglichkeiten zu schenken. UNSERE MISSION:
In nur zwei Wochen reisen Lars, einer unserer Gründer, und Annabelle, seine Freundin, nach Mombasa, Kenia, um im Barnabas Children Center eine Mini-Ramp zu bauen. Lars und Annabelle werden vor Ort Zeit mit den Kindern verbringen, sie in den Bau der Rampe einbeziehen und ihnen so nicht nur Spaß, sondern auch neue Perspektiven und Gemeinschaft ermöglichen. Skateboarding und Balance Boards geben Kindern die Chance, Selbstvertrauen, Freude und Hoffnung zu erleben – Werte, die uns besonders am Herzen liegen.
WOFÜR WIR SPENDEN SAMMELN:
- Baumaterialien: Holz, Werkzeuge und andere Materialien, um die Mini-Ramp zu bauen.
- Schutzausrüstung: Knie- und Ellenbogenschoner, Helme und weiteres Equipment.
- Alte, funktionstüchtige Skateboards: Mit Achsen und Rollen, damit die Kinder sofort loslegen können.
- Unterstützung für das Barnabas Children Center: Eine Schule und ein Waisenhaus, das seit über 14 Jahren Kindern aus den ärmsten Verhältnissen eine Zukunft schenkt.

WHO WE ARE:
We are Hillseye Boards, a young company based in Bad Schussenried, southern Germany, that produces exceptionally durable yet lightweight balance boards made from recycled materials. Our products are crafted from automotive and aerospace industry waste, which we upcycle to create something new and long-lasting. OUR MISSION:
In just two weeks, Lars, one of our founders, and Annabelle, his girlfriend, will travel to Mombasa, Kenya, to build a mini-ramp at the Barnabas Children Center. Lars and Annabelle will spend time with the children, involve them in the ramp's construction, and bring not only fun but also new perspectives and a sense of community. Skateboarding and balance boards offer children the chance to experience confidence, joy, and hope – values that are especially close to our hearts.
WHAT WE'RE RAISING FUNDS FOR:
- Building Materials: Wood, tools, and other supplies needed to build the mini-ramp.
- Safety Gear: Knee and elbow pads, helmets, and other equipment.
- Old but Functional Skateboards: Complete with trucks and wheels, so the kids can start riding right away.
- Support for the Barnabas Children Center: A school and orphanage that has provided a future for children from the poorest backgrounds for over 14 years.
