Help us bring Christopher home!

This is Christopher.  Chris was like every other average 19 year old, going to college, working a part time job, and hanging with family and friends.  Until August 18, 2014.  Christopher was a backseat passenger in a car involved in a high speed crash.  There were four people in the car that night.  Three of them walked away.  Christopher suffered multiple, life threatening injuries but, true to his spirit, he pulled through.  However, not without consequence.  As a result of lack of blood flow to the spine and lower extremities, Christopher is now a paraplegic, paralyzed from the waist down.  He spent two and a half months in the hospital, most of which was spent in ICU, and is now in a rehabilitation facility.  He is working really hard to recover and be able to return home to his family and friends. His medical bills are astronomical.  In addition, his home needs to be modified to accommodate his wheelchair.  We need to build a ramp to get him in and out of the house and we need to modify a bathroom for his use as well. 

 
After many requests from people asking how they can help, it was decided to set up this site. The money raised will help pay for the ramp needed for Chris to access his home, bathroom modifications necessary for him to be able to shower and possibly help pay for a wheelchair accessible van so he can get to doctor appointments, treatments, etc.  Any amount, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.

Our prayers and intention is for some relief of these financial worries so the family can focus on helping him get strong again.    And if you can't give, please keep Christopher and his family in your prayers - your prayers and support will mean so much to them.
