Ramona’s Recovery

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am the daughter of this beautiful lady who is fighting for her life in ICU. I lost count how many times the Drs have asked me to “give up” on her and “let her go peacefully”. I refuse to give up as long as she keeps fighting. She is the strongest woman I know. She was air flighted to a trauma hospital on June 3 with a lung blood clot, pneumonia and sepsis. Since then she had multi organ failure involving her lungs, kidneys and liver. She also suffered a stroke during her stay. But guess what? Her liver fully recovered, her kidneys fully recovered (after weeks of dialysis) and so far we see no long-standing issues from her strokes. The only thing left for her to repair is her lungs. I am fighting everyday with her insurance company to get her approved for a rehab. I’ve contacted congressmen and filed many appeals and still she is denied rehab care.
