Ramon Ochoa Memorial Fund

Ramon Ochoa Lua, a loving husband and father of four children, passed away peacefully at age 58 after battling brain cancer. Ramon Ochoa was given the gift of life on October 1st, 1959 in Michoacán, Mexico of Petra and Jose Ochoa. He had a humble upbringing alongside four sisters and six brothers, who together were always full of love, laughter and support for one another. On January 31, 1981 he married Maria Concepcion “Concha” Campos Ochoa. They raised three sons, Adrian, Fabian and Christian, and a daughter Jasmine.

Ramon had a passion for the art of landscaping and owned Alfa Landscaping, serving his loyal clients for over fifteen years.   He was know for his quick wit, his infectious smile, dancing the night away with Concha and Jasmine, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Life is indeed a gift and in his years Ramon gave a helping hand every opportunity that he had without hesitation. Helping others was his purpose, he never hesitated at an opportunity to lift those in need in whatever way he could. He fought and worked hard investing every piece of himself to accomplish his goals and it was no different in his battle with cancer. He refused to believe that he could not dominate his illness  remaining positive, hopeful and always smiling. Even when facing the challenge of letting go of work, his cherished business and his passions. He did it willingly to give his family and himself a chance of beating the odds, opening every aspect of his battle with treatment to medical professionals to aid in the research in treatment of Glioblastoma (brain cancer).

We humbly appreciate all the support and offerings for donations to aid the family in a very difficult time with the end of life expenses related to his passing. To aid the family this page will collect the funds to be allocated to funeral expenses and all remaining funds will be donated to the American brain tumor association (https://www.abta.org/) of who’s resources significantly helped guide the family through it all.

Ramón Ochoa Lua, un amoroso esposo y padre de cuatro hijos, falleció en paz a los 58 años después de una lucha con cáncer cerebral. Ramón Ochoa nació 1 de octubre de 1959 en Michoacán, México, de Petra y José Ochoa. Tuvo una juventud humilde junto a cuatro hermanas y seis hermanos, quienes juntos siempre convivieron llenos de amor, risa y apoyo mutuo. El 31 de enero de 1981 se casó con María Concepción "Concha" Campos Ochoa. Criaron a tres hijos, Adrian, Fabian y Christian, y una hija Jasmine.
Ramon tenía una pasión por el arte de jardinería y era dueño de Alfa Landscaping, sirviendo a sus leales clientes durante más de quince años. Era conocido por su ingenio , su sonrisa contagiosa, bailando toda la noche con Concha y Jasmine, y su espíritu amable y compasivo.
La vida es de hecho un regalo y en sus años Ramón le dio la mano a muchos cada vez que tuvo la oportunidad sin pensarlo. Ayudar a otros fue su propósito, nunca dudó ayudar a los necesitados de cualquier manera que pudiera. Luchó y trabajó duro invirtiendo cada parte de sí mismo para lograr sus objetivos y no fue diferente en su batalla contra el cáncer. Se negó a creer que no podía dominar su enfermedad, permaneciendo positivo, esperanzado y siempre sonriente. Incluso cuando enfrentó el desafío de dejar el trabajo, su negocio querido y sus pasiones, Lo hizo voluntariamente para darles a su familia y a él mismo la oportunidad de superar todas las dificultades. Abrió todos los aspectos de su batalla con el tratamiento a los profesionales, médicos y estudios para ayudar en la investigación del tratamiento del glioblastoma (cáncer de cerebro).
Agradecemos humildemente todo el apoyo y las ofrendas de donaciones para ayudar a la familia en un momento muy difícil con los gastos de final de vida relacionados con su fallecimiento.
