Ramirez & Family Community Response Fund

Cristina Ramirez, whose husband was shot to death in front of their apartment in West Palm Beach early in the morning as he headed to work on May 4, 2018 has been a widow and the sole bread winner for her 5 children ever since. She lives in an area of West Palm Beach where many Americans have and continue to rob, kill and steal from the hard-working immigrant population knowing that they will fear to call the police. Even though she did call the police, the person that killed her husband for no reason other than to kill- has not been found. She prays that the person that killed her husband and loving father of her children is found, not only to have some semblance of justice but so that the perpetrator does not kill others. Meanwhile, this family is in dire need of help. Hope that as a community we can show them we care.
Cristina, who cleans homes, lost her job during the pandemic. She would love to find a job cleaning homes and/or cooking. She is an excellent cook. At the moment she is struggling every week to pay her bills, rent, utilities, food to sustain her family of 5 children. Her eldest daughter, Reina is 22, her other daughter Belci is 15 years old, and her three boys James 11 years old, Jeffrey 8 years old and Fidencio 7 years old. She needs to buy them clothes, shoes, back packs and school supplies.
Her eldest daughter, Reina has a job and how they have been able to scrape along. Yet her oldest daughter also has two children. The funds raised will help Cristina and her 5 children be able to survive the next couple of months, while she gets a stable job.
