WHO ARE WE?
Located in Bali, Indonesia, the Yayasan Rama Sita Sanctuary is a genuine humanitarian cause with both heart and soul. “Yayasan” is the name given for a legally registered non-for-profit charity organisation in Indonesia. The Sanctuary has been created to support human beings in need, facilitating holistic healing and teaching how to be ones natural Self, under the guidance of Founder and Teacher - Om Rama.
It is our privilege to work for the greater good of all and to serve humanity.
The Sanctuary is functioning and already operating completely on a volunteer and donation basis, however currently only on a small and limited scale. The Sanctuary needs funds in order to move forward with our ambitious vision and any donation of any size is deeply appreciated.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
To create & provide a sacred sanctuary for emotional healing & spiritual transformation, in order to improve the well-being of other people. This is based on the principles of compassionate care, selfless service & donations.
One year ago, we established the basis of a Sacred Sanctuary - a Spiritual Village & Healing Center. We continue to further develop this Center (or Spiritual Residential Village) until the full vision is reached in its entirety. This Center provides healing & spiritual guidance, along with emotional, physical & financial support to those in need.
WHAT ARE WE CURRENTLY FUNDRAISING FOR?
The Rama Sita Sanctuary is currently in urgent need of financial support to continue its operations and services. This fundraising campaign is to help the sanctuary cover the necessary cost of operations this coming month.
In the long term the Sanctuary will be supported by bigger organizations and patrons, but right now we urgently need financial support in order to keep its head above water, continuing to provide for those in need.
WHY IT MATTERS
* The sanctuary assists local Balinese families paying for their living expenses and their children's school fees by offering them the opportunity to be part of the development and running of the center.
*The Sanctuary is the main hub through which healing sessions, Satsang sessions as well as retreats are held by founder: Om Rama. (About the founders).
Several people suffering from Bi-polar, PTSD, depression, being suicidal etc. have come and finally found their relief and healing through the guidance of Om Rama after having tried pretty much everything and been on the verge of giving up. (Testimonials )
* The Sanctuary through the care and guidance of Om Rama and the Satsanga (our team) functions as a sacred Buddha field in which people can come and experience profound healing, as well as communion with Truth. A rare and authentic privilege in our world these days.
* The Rama Sita Sanctuary holds a vision of being a sacred refuge of healing as well as awakening of the Natural Self in Human beings, with its ambitious goal to one day provide all services for free.
In other words, the Sanctuary will serve as a sacred cradle of Light and warm hope for humanity in the years to come.
WHERE WILL THE FUNDS GO?
Donations of any size go directly to The Yayasan Rama Sita Sanctuary Trust Fund are used to help people in whichever way help is needed.
All the donations from this campaign go directly to covering the necessary expenses of running the Sanctuary, this and the following month.
This includes:
- Monthly wages for the local Balinese
- Basic infrastructural and operational running costs.
- Basic living costs like food money for the volunteer team.
