Ramah in the Rockies Fire Relief

Since 2012, Ramah in the Rockies has been a very important part of my life. I spent four summers at this beautiful ranch in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The warm and caring Ramah community has helped me develop my Jewish identity, increase my self-confidence, learn outdoor survival skills and make lifelong friends. Camp Ramah has always been the place I have felt most safe to be myself without fear of judgement. This video helps explain the meaningful impact camp has had on my life.

Sadly, the place that I love so dearly is facing a crisis.

Early morning on Monday, August 7, a fire broke out in the main building at Ramah in the Rockies. Thankfully, there were no injuries, and the entire camp was safely evacuated to Denver. However, the building, which included administrative offices, the camp kitchen, and dining hall, was completely destroyed. 

As someone whose life has been so profoundly impacted by Camp Ramah, I feel that it is my responsibility to help with the rebuilding effort. I am immediately donating $360, and I hope you consider giving any amount you can. Any donation will help ensure that hundreds of Jewish youth continue to benefit from the meaningful camp experience that I have been so lucky to have recieved.
