Hello Beautiful people,
In the spirit of Ramadan, I would love to use the power of the internet to gather my close friends, family, and other generous souls to help raise money to supply Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian families who do not have enough food to feed themselves and their beautiful children.
This is a month that unites us, a month that reminds us of the importance of compassion and selfless action. For a price of a cup of coffee (or two) - you can make a real and tangible impact. A contribution of 1$, 5$ or 10$ may be insignificant to us - but it makes a world of difference for those who know nothing but scarcity and systemic injustice.
We have already been able to supply 3 families with food boxes for the whole month of Ramadan by as little as 50$ for each family in one day offline. Whether you choose to contribute to this cause or not, we hope it will be a good empathy exercise and we hope to have inspired you to share with others and to minimize unnecessary food waste.
We will personally be overseeing the food purchase and delivery to families in dire need, and we will keep you updated of the progress as this campaign progresses.

UPDATE
We have decided to work for a portion of the campaign with the Smile & Olive Foundations, found on Instagram on @Basmehzeitooneh that will assist us in organizing the food baskets and identifying families in need. The other portion will be organized directly by myself in local supermarkets and distributed to local families.
The funds will be withrawed to my own personal bank account and I will deliver the funds in cash to the office at the Smile and Olive Foundation in Beirut, Lebanon.
I will keep you all posted once the campaign is completed and to give you feedback on how many families we managed to help.
