Fundraising for Ramadan Food Drive by MSA-MUN

Every year, MSA hosts Ramadan Iftar for students and the community people at MUN campus, but this year due to the pandemic, things are not same as before. For the very First Time, MSA-MUN, in collaboration with NL Eats, has taken the initiative to distribute essential groceries over the month to the Homes of the students and local families who are in need in this challenging time. On the very first day of Ramadan, we successfully distributed the Ramadan hampers to over 90 people. Each hamper costs between $20-25 depending on availability of groceries. We have more than 500 Home delivery registrations till the date and more will follow by the Grace of Almighty GOD over this blessed month. The hamper distribution is taking place Every Week among students and local community people with the collaboration of NL eats. The entire MSA-MUN team is committed to the success of this initiative and to deliver Ramadan Hamper to the doorsteps of every registered person. Therefore, we ask for your support for this ambition.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever helps break the fast of a fasting person, he will have the same reward as him without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person.”
A man asked Beloved Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him), "What aspect of Islam is best ?" , The beloved Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "Feeding people and greeting those whom you know and whom you don't know".
