Ralph_shih_tzu back operation fund

Hi all this is our beloved shihtzu Ralph we have had him since he was 8 weeks old and he will be 3 in October.  He has always been full of life with an abundance of energy. However, this past month he has become very lethargic and eventually his back legs gave way and he is now unable to walk at all.  I took him straight to the vets where they carried out x-rays to confirm he has a slipped disc and will benefit greatly from an operation.  Unfortunately the insurance we had in place only covered him for £500 which has already been used up at the vets for fees occurred there. Today he travelled to Bristol for a second specialists opinion who confirmed the same.  We as a family are heartbroken, he is our first dog and we all love him dearly.  It is so upsetting  to see him looking so sad.  We want our crazy, fun, adventurous little buddy back to normal.  The fees for the operation plus physiotherapy and medication afterwards will reach up to £7000 ($8940,09) (€7828.80) if not more.   We simply do not have the funds to cover this alone.  If there is anyone who is willing to help our little special dog we will be forever grateful to you.
