I'm writing this GoFundMe request for my brother-in-law Ralph, who was more like a brother to me than an in-law. We found out last night that he passed away last Thursday, 1/26/2023. We received a phone call from a Detective with the Pennsylvania Police Department, informing us that he died almost a week ago, after simply collapsing and being unresponsive when EMT arrived. The full circumstances aren't clear but they have been trying to reach out to family members to inform us of his untimely death. For those who knew Ralph, he had his share of struggles and never stayed in one place for too long. He recently went to PA to start anew and met his untimely death. Ralph was a guy who wanted to be happy, always looking for love and support from friends and family, all while offering what he could to those in need. He is survived by his eldest daughter, Legacy, and son, Rafael Martinez, Jr. The purpose of this GoFundMe account is to request assistance for his funeral services. We believe every person under God's green Earth, especially one who was so giving, deserves a thoughtful send-off where we can pay our respects to him. Any contribution toward our goal will be greatly appreciated! Ralph will be greatly missed.
