My name is Ralph Blaine Smith I've been incarcerated for the last 20 years for a robbery I did not commit. Back in 2000 I was found guilty of this robbery and sentenced to 67 years. No one was hurt, no one was killed during this robbery.
As of now I'm currently at Marion Correctional Institution. Due to a private investigator I was able to obtain and uncover evidence of my actual innocence. Also uncovered proof that prosecutor Greg Marxx withheld evidence proving I'm innocent.
The prosecution also withheld video recording, audio recordings, 911 call, police reports and other documents that should have been turned over to my trial attorney Terry Sherman and I. This evidence would have proved I was innocent 20 years ago and that I should have never been arrested.
Being that I don't have any money and my family has not been able to afford a lawyer, I took upon myself to file this evidence on my own. As of May 5th, 2020 the judge granted my motion and has ordered a hearing in July.
My cousin Alexis George and I have been in contact with a attorney, Joseph Landusky, who will be able to have me exonerated for $14,000 as of now we have raised $3,600.
