Chris Sanchez, Aaron Hyman, and Chris Bova are US Marines who met in Okinawa, Japan, became Reconnaissance teammates and deployed together to multiple hostile locations around the world. In addition to an unspeakable bond, the three men possess an instinctual calling for service and highly specialized skill sets that make them unique assets in disaster situations.

On September 5th, Sanchez, Hyman, Bova and a number of their US Marine brothers are headed to South Texas to aid in disaster relief for victims of Hurricane Harvey. Initial volunteer efforts will center on rescue operations, large-scale debris removal and property recovery. As immediate threats are addressed and pending threats dissipate, the team will turn to infrastructure reconstruction and helping communities and individuals rebuild what was lost. They will be providing the victims, many left unemployed by Harvey’s devastation, the opportunity to rebuild with honor, and with the dignity of earning a living wage while doing so.

The team has already obtained a 5th wheel RV to be used as an operations center and are in the process of procuring a fleet of tractors and trucks to assist with the main effort. Additional tools and materials required to complete the tasks they have identified include chainsaws, ropes, cables, a trailer and more. All this equipment bears a significant cost.

The team is working to secure warehouse space from which to operate. The overwhelming majority of monies raised to support Rally Point Service’s efforts will be specifically earmarked for rescue, removal and rebuild equipment, and payroll for the recently displaced citizens hard at work. A meager daily stipend will support basic meals, cots for sleeping and other necessities. The GoFundMe raise is sought to support equipment procurement and an initial deployment. The men's long-term plan is to secure a FEMA relief aid contract in order that they and their other teammates be able to continue specific and skilled work in the affected area.

South Texas is in need of highly specialized aid workers where relief efforts will be required for the foreseeable future. Please consider giving a little to three men who have given much for their country and wish to continue their service commitment by way of bringing highly specialized help to the Hurricane Harvey disaster relief effort.

Ongoing updates will let supporters know about equipment purchased, ongoing needs, work completed and next steps. Thank you for your consideration in supporting these Marines and their brothers and the countless victims of Hurricane Harvey.
