Rallying for Bev’s Recovery!

Donation protected
If you know Bev, you know she has a contagious smile, an uplifting personality, and a heart of gold. She has always and continues to put everyone else’s needs before her own. She has a strong love for Christ and though she has been faced with many challenges, her faith has never waivered. On June 26, 2018, Bev collapsed and suffered from what we thought was a stroke. After more testing and many doctors’ visits, a neurologist discovered a mass in the left frontal lobe of her brain; it turns out she never had a stroke.  She has seen several doctors and specialists and was referred to a super-specialist in the neurology department in Rochester, NY. After further testing it was decided that the mass would need to be removed. On August 16, 2018 Bev had surgery to remove the tumor. The surgery went very well and without complications, however when the doctors removed the tumor they discovered that it was cancerous. Bev has been diagnosed with a gliobastoma, which is an incurable brain cancer. In several weeks she will need to begin treatment, which will be both radiation and or chemotherapy. As you can imagine, this came as a shock to not just Bev, but her loved ones and anyone close to her. Because of these medical reasons, Bev has been out of work since June and as of right now it is unknown as to if and when she will be able to return. Unfortunately the surgeries and treatments are going to be costly and the last thing Bev needs right now is to be stressed about how she is going to pay her current and future bills having not worked since June. Soon we will know the cost of hospitalization and surgery, but currently we have no idea what the medical costs will be for her appointments and treatments. Bev has always seen the good in everyone and will go above and beyond to make sure everyone’s needs are met before her own. She is one of the strongest people I have ever known and if anyone deserves support in such a time of need it is her. We want her to be able to receive the best treatments worry free so she can get back on her feet and continue to spread joy to others like she always has. Bev has been a rock star through this process and has a great mind set. She continues to remain positive and knows that God will get her through this. Any donation, big or small, and simply sharing this page is greatly appreciated and will be a huge help to Bev. Thank you for your continued support and prayers; they are greatly appreciated by all. God bless!
