Rallying Around Andrew and Jessica

On August 10th Andrew Nuttall was hit from behind on his bike by a car going 50 mph. He was sent flying 75 feet from the point of impact. He was flown (flight for life) from Aspen to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs where he'd stay six days. By a divine miracle Andrew was not killed nor left paralyzed, however, his spine is broken in numerous places as well as his left shoulder.  To avoid surgery, Andrew was fitted with a halo device which is screwed into his head.  He is required to wear the halo for a minimum of 12 weeks, undergo physical therapy for his broken shoulder as well as his neck.

Jessica, his wife, and Andrew are now at home dealing with the aftermath of this horrendous accident. Andrew is not able to work for at least 12 weeks nor is he able to pick up his two kids Ryder and Reid. Jessica is not only a full time mother but now she is  taking care of Andrew and this new financial burden. The woman who hit Andrew with her car has minimal insurance, therefore, it will only cover a small portion of the damages. 

We as their family and friends would LOVE to bless them and ease this financial burden as they already have much to deal with. We DO NOT want them informed of this Go Fund Me! Andrew and Jessica are not ones to ask for much because they do not want to feel as though they are burdening others. This is the reason we would love at the end of it all to simply bless them instead of them feeling like a burden to you all. We all know they are not, we just want to keep this as stress free as possible.  So please when sharing be conscious of making it invisible to Jessica and Andrew.

Our $200,000 goal is simply putting then back to square one financially. This amount may seem high, but hospital bills, flight for life, medicine, property damage and not actively earning an income make up this goal.  Currently they are having to use savings to pay the costs upfront before they receive the minimal insurance payout. 

They have a long journey ahead of them and we want to stand by them as family, friends, the church, fellow bike riders, acquaintances and even strangers.  Thank you to everyone who has brought food, company, words of advice, listening ears and kid care. This is just another way we can come around them in love. Thank you in advance for supporting them!!
