Rally For Tami

My name is Caleb Teachout. I am raising support for my Mom, Tami Teachout, to get cataract surgeries on both of her eyes. She has had poor vision for many years, but in the last few months they have taken a turn for the worse. Recently her eyes have gotten so bad that some days she can't drive a car or do lots of other tasks. Cataracts are reversable through outpatient surgery, but the operation costs about $3,300 per eye, out of pocket. It's urgent that she gets treatment soon so that she can get back to working and living a normal, independent life. If we can get the funds together, this will be a Christmas miracle for her. Her and my Dad have been saving up for the surgery since they learned of the diagnosis, but other unforseen medical expenses have eaten into their progress. My parents Herman and Tami have dedicated their lives and careers to service to others. They are hard workers and would never want a handout from anyone. Given enough time they would figure out a way to pay for it or finance it, but I want to take this crippling burden from them and do it much sooner to help them get back on their feet and back to working at full capacity. Asking for help is a difficult thing to do. That is why I am stepping in to offer an avenue for friends and family to support these wonderful people during this rough patch. Mom and Dad have no idea we are doing this on their behalf.
