On behalf of my mother I want to share her story.
In August 2018, my mother went in for a routine surgery that went drastically wrong. Since then, she has faced a plethora of complications, unbearable pain, more hospitalizations, and doctor visits. Because of this nightmare, she now faces yet another surgery to repair what was damaged from her previous surgery. Before her surgery, she will need a small procedure done that is not covered by insurance. This is to help prepare for her next surgery. The recovery for this surgery will be much longer than the first. She will be needing to take a lot of time off of work. Currently, she is working three jobs, and sick time will not cover the lost income from all three jobs. Between doctor visits, travel costs to appointments, (parking/gas) medical expenses and recovery, she will need all the help she can get.
If anyone knows my mom, you know her heart. Her family is her life. She took me and three of her grandchildren in, to support us in our time of need. Now it’s our time to give back to her. She is a loving mother, daughter, Nanna, friend, cousin, aunt, sister, bus driver, community member, and faithful church attender. If you feel it in your heart to donate, please do! She never asks for anything from anyone, and she has the biggest heart.
